With reference to your despatch No .310 of the Rs2078 21st November, 1914, and of your telegram of the 5th January,

1915, I have the honour to report that I have granted to

Inspector John Reidie of the Sanitary Department a pension at

the rate of 8884 per annum (at 38.8d. to the dollar £162.18.

4d) with effect from the 4th September, 1914, and that the

Crown Agents for the Colonies have been instructed to issue pay-

ments to him as they become due.
